1. What if I’ve never danced before?

Then, our Beginners classes are perfect. They are for those new to Bachata, new to dance, and/or those with two left feet:

Thursdays: 7pm Beginners Bachata

All our beginners classes take place at Bar and Beyond Norwich, 24-26 Prince of Wales Rd, Norwich NR1 1LG

All our beginners classes cost £5 each (or £3 with a student card)

2. When and where are your harder classes?

Thursdays: 7pm Intermediate Bachata / 8.15pm Improvers Bachata

Intermediate class are the hardest classes we have

3. Do I need to come with a partner?

No, in our classes, we swap partners every few minutes. The teachers will instruct you on this during the class.

4. Do you take card?

No, we only take cash at this moment at our weekly group classes. There will be tickets available on the Facebook event for our monthly SBK parties. We only use the booking system, Fatsoma. Please do not purchase your tickets from anywhere else or from anyone else. And for our Bachata Bootcamps and BachaChicas sessions, we take bank transfer or cash in advance.

5. Do I need to book in advanced?

We do not take advanced bookings for our weekly group classes. They are drop-in classes so turn up any week and pay on the door (in cash). For our monthly parties, there are cheaper advanced tickets available online, and for our Bootcamps, we take bank transfer.

6. What style of Bachata do you teach?

We cover Bachata Moderna, Sensual and Dominican in our classes. What you get each week varies however we make a point to specify what style the moves we are teaching lend themselves towards. (see point 2 below as to why we do this).
USUALLY:

• Our Beginners classes are 100% Moderna or Dominican
• Our Improvers classes is about 70% Moderna or Dominican, with 30% Sensual
• Our Intermediate class is around 60% Sensual and 40% other
• Our warmups incorporate Dominican footwork

6. Do you do private classes?

Yes, we do private classes in Norwich city centre for Bachata and Salsa. We will also accommodate a few wedding dances each year. For more on private classes, see here. For more on wedding dances, see here.

7. I want to buy some classes / private classes for a friend/family member, is this possible?

Yes, we have gift vouchers available that we can send to you (either online or a physical voucher), of any amount you would like, and they can be used against our Thursday classes and for private classes. Email us on norwichlatindance@gmail.com to arrange these.

8. How can I stay updated on new classes and events?

All of our events are put on our Facebook page here, so make sure you are following and have the notifications on so you don’t miss a thing. We also have a group Whatsapp group chat for announcements which you can join after your first class (just ask the teachers, Marwa or Jack)
