What you eat before exercise should be full of nutrients. Drinking fluids is also necessary for keeping you hydrated during your dance lessons.
Below are some healthy snacks that you can eat before your classes.
- Fruit. Eating fruits such as bananas, grapes, oranges, strawberries, apples can help you remain energized during the dance session. They are full of antioxidants and have a high water content.
- Hardboiled eggs. Easy, simple, and delicious. A hardboiled egg will give you 12.6 grams of protein.
- Protein bar. Eating enough protein is essential in keeping you energized while dancing. For proper balance, find protein bars high in protein and fibre and low in sugar, or try to make some yourself.
- Blueberry oatmeal muffins. Oatmeal and blueberries have good nutritional value. Baking them into muffins will make it easier for you to grab them on the go.
